We at Windmill Homecare are  now seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager in the North Cork Area . This role gives a great work/life balance, core working days of Monday to Friday, and operating during regular office hours. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence and effect great change in the lives of our service users, allowing them to continue to live independently.

Windmill Homecare’s mission is to deliver exceptional homecare and supportive services to our service users and their families to assist them in leading a dignified and independent life in the safety of their own homes.

Job Requirements:

  • Nursing Qualification (NMBI registration is required)
  • Minimum of 5 years nursing experience
  • Carry out regular assessments for New and Existing Clients and oversee Care Plans, as well as managing case loads
  • Liaising with HSE Public Health Nurse and Client Care Coordinators
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a changing environment
  • Demonstrate leadership ability
  • A background in community nursing or relevant work experience in-homecare industry is desirable but not essential
  • Community-based role (own car and full clean driving licence)

Home Support Worker

Job Requirements:

  • Have a relevant health or social care background
  • Full or partial FETAC/QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support Course or Pre Nursing Course Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Ability to work in a changing environment
  • Community based role (Own Car and full clean driving licence)
  • Have a caring and empathetic nature

We will also consider applicants who:

  • Have started their QQI Level 5 major award
  • Have experience in working in a healthcare related field and willing to start QQI Level 5 Health Care Qualification
  • Have previous experience in healthcare
